An exciting opportunity has arisen to join this employer's fantastic team in Dunedin. In this role you will be working within a collaborative environment, well supported by radiologist and peers, and utilising the latest technology and systems.
Ideally, you will be a Medical Imaging Technologist highly experience in general X-ray and could work in another scope of practice e.g., CT or MRI (or both). They are focused on supporting their people through continuing professional development (CPD) to build a long-term career.
Your responsibilities will include (depending on your scope of practice):
- Producing high quality images according to company protocols and accepted radiology practice.
- Recording information in the relevant Radiology Information System.
- Have excellent CT experience covering a range of examinations including interventional work.
- Demonstrate diagnostic imaging of a good quality and in line with published imaging protocols.
- Provide excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Perform post processing of CT images.
- Work unsupervised and as part of a team.
- Conducting MRI patient examinations to a high standard.
- Maintaining accurate patient data and ensuring all administrative processes are complete including paperwork for all examinations.
- Training and supporting students within the MRI department.
