The Role
The Logistics Co-Ordinator works within the Purchasing Team to ensure all orders that are placed are shipped on time in full and in the most efficient manner. This will include monitoring and updating business systems and departments about current statuses and issues. You will need to be communicating with suppliers and freight companies regularly, and will make decisions that control how and when suppliers send their goods.
- Creating and maintaining back order reports
- Stock level control and product maintenance
- Building and maintaining supplier relationships
- Freight analysis and reporting
- Managing customer demand
- Administration support
About You
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proactive, have initiative, and be willing to pitch in on a variety of tasks
- Outstanding communication and co-ordination skills
- Advanced computer skills with reporting and analysis experience
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
