Deputy Bursar, Accounting and Finance                                                                                    

  • Day to day operational management of the department 

  • Liaise with University debtors, creditors, bankers and other stakeholders 

  • Budgeting and budgetary control 
and management of cash-flow and treasury
  • Variance analysis and exceptional reports 

  • Produce management accounts in accordance with University Practices, regulations and policies

  • Management of the Finance and Investment portfolio 

  • Fixed Assets Register maintenance. 

  • Stakeholders’ relationship management focusing mainly on bankers, auditors, creditors and debtors 

  • Payroll accounting and statutory payments 

  • Audit schedules preparation, both internal and external 

  • Supervision of 8 Finance and Investments section employees

  • Financial and Management Reporting
