Job Description
The Position
Headquarters based in Auckland NZ, we are seeking energetic and team orientated Workshop based Service Technician, with a main responsibility of component & power unit rebuilding to join us.
Tasks
- Installation and commissioning on large hydraulic projects.
- Strip, assess, rebuild and test our components including but not limited to Hydraulic pumps & motors, hydraulic wheel drives.
- Fault-Finding diagnosis and product analysis reporting on workshop based projects
- Refurbish hydraulic power units.
- Serves our customers’ needs to be studying the system requirement and developing proactive responses to faults, maintenance or modernisation topics.
- Ordering and gathering components, installation, performing tests, identifying further repairs.
- Maintaining customer confidentiality
- Prepare service quotations and follow up the customer.
- Upload all relevant Internal Service documentation including vendor quotations, delivery dockets, service quotations, service reports.
- Ensures quality control through documenting of tests and installations including the supplying of customer documentation.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Mechanical Trade certificate.
- Able to demonstrate a high-level technical knowledge of major hydraulic components.
- Previous experience in hydraulic component repair.
- Able to work unsupervised, committed and Reliable.
- High focus on Quality and attention to detail.
- Conversant in Microsoft office applications.
- Effective communication skills
- Long-term aspirations.
