Warehouse Storeperson

Role

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Storeperson will receive, check and store stock in addition to dispatching orders from our warehouses. Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, tidy and orderly, and the warehouse functions efficiently and smoothly.

Duties

Your duties include:

Daily

• Receive and unpack incoming goods ensuring goods are dispatched correctly and promptly
• Inwards Goods - Devan containers and freight trucks, receipting deliveries, releasing of back orders
• Outwards Goods - Ordering, picking and packing, dispatch by courier and freight companies
• Assist with delivery enquiries and track and trace
• Spot count check on products
• Assisting with the major transfer of stock between Christchurch and Auckland
• Co-ordinate rolling stock takes

Skills & Experience

For you to be effective in this role, you will have/be:

• Warehouse experience with inwards and outwards goods
• Knowledge of stock control and storeroom/warehouse procedures
• Good customers service skills
• Work well under pressure in a calm, diplomatic and positive manner
• Current fork lift licence (F Endorsement preferred)
• Counter balance and Reach truck experience
• Full NZ Drivers license
• MPI certified (would an advantage)
• Strong attention to detail
• The ability to think on your feet
• Basic computer skills
• Hard working, honest, reliable and motivated
• A real team player willing to pitch in and support your colleagues as and when required
