Working as an Outbound Specialist you will be working as part of a small by dynamic team, in a role that is a critical support function to the overall Production, Warehouse and Distribution teams as they work to get product out to domestic and international customers.You will be someone with previous outbound experience, practical knowledge and experience in staging product, loading containers, loading trucks, inventory control, ensuring accurate inventory records and outbound documentation, and assisting the wider team generally by mucking in where it counts.
Hours of Work:
7:30am - 4:00pm Monday to Friday
Remuneration:
This role is paying a market competitive hourly wage between $26-30 per hour dependent on your outbound warehousing & forklift operating experience.
Day to Day you will be responsible for:
- Moving stock using various techniques
- Accurately loading trucks, on time and in full
- Preparing, loading and dispatching outwards goods
- Assisting with team production targets
- Inventory control and outbound/export documentation
- Maintaining a clean and well-organised working area
To be considered for this role you will have:
- An OSH endorsed Forklift License
- Previous experience working in a stores or warehouse environment
- A desire to learn and grow
- Good physical ability and previous experience assisting with dispatch or loading duties
- Strong communication skills and be a good team player
- A good understanding of health and safety in a manufacturing environment
- A good team attitude and be hardworking, trustworthy and reliable
It’s all about work ethic and productivity, so if you have the Stores or Warehouse experience and are physically fit, training can be provided in other facets of the role.
