Due to an internal movement we are looking for an amazing under 2’s teacher to join a well established, community focused centre in Mangere, Auckland!
You’ll be open minded, willing to learn and grow, and love working in a collaborative team environment. You’ll love the safe, nurturing and welcoming environment which boasts a spacious outdoor area to develop the natural curiosities of Tamariki, and providing a great learning environment for you to teach in.
Key responsibilities
- Support planning, implementation and evaluation of a learning programmes that are responsive to the strengths and interests of children
- Build positive relationships with children and Whānau
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with others
- Document children’s learning and take responsibility for children’s profile books and e-portfolio
Key Skills and Requirements
- The ability to use initiative and commitment to quality practice standards and a strong understanding of the principles of Te Te Whāriki
- Amazing communication, organization and planning skills
- Passion for working with children and their families, and a commitment to their well-being and development
- B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current teacher registration/certification
