‍This role offers an exciting opportunity to join growing counselling team. As a Counsellor, you will provide emotional support and guidance to individuals in need of assistance. You will be part of a wider team that works together to help those in need, while gaining valuable experience in the field of mental health. ‍Responsibilities‍

• Provide therapeutic and emotional support to clients  in a professional and empathetic manner
• Respond to client enquiries in a timely fashion, offering advice and guidance as appropriate
• Maintain accurate records of all client interactions, ensuring that all data is up-to-date and secure
• Monitor the progress of clients on an ongoing basis, adjusting plans accordingly to ensure positive outcomes
• Liaise with other healthcare professionals as required, keeping them informed of any changes or developments in the client’s situation
• Adhere strictly to professional codes of conduct at all times

‍Desired Skills & Experience

• Possession of a current practising certificate in Counselling
• Knowledge of current legislation and ethical practice in the healthcare sector
• Ability to manage challenging conversations with empathy and professionalism
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Computer literacy including knowledge of MS Office Suite & other relevant software packages
