This employer is a leading distributor of electrical components both within New Zealand and abroad. They are currently on the hunt for a motivated a Technical Operations Co-ordinator to join their team.

The Technical Operations Coordinator is a key role,  ensuring effective, professional service is provided to customers, both as part of the sales process and ongoing technical support and maintenance in this area.

The Technical Operations Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the Quoting Team workload, from customer liaison to establishing project specifications, design through to completion.

This will be a great role for someone with sound electrical knowledge and excellent administration skills looking to be off the tools.

For you to be successful in this role, we are looking for the following:

  • Experience in working in quoting teams and managing the processes involved
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Outstanding communication and co-ordination skills
  • Advanced computer skills with reporting and analysis experience
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Limited or full EWRB registration is desirable

Your day to day tasks would include:

  • Customisation quote and sales enquiries
  • Assisting the team to achieve quote conversion rate
  • Support the Management and sales team with the management of customer relationships
  • Build and sustain effective relationships with key accounts and stakeholders
  • Project co-ordination of new products and customisations
  • General administration and project work
