The Role:
As Team Leader Responsive Programmes you will be responsible for delivering all aspects of our Responsive Grants Programmes. You will lead a team of three Grants Advisors and a Grants Administrator to assess, review and manage grant applications as well as working with the wider organisation to ensure key messages and stories of impact are communicated externally.
You will engage with key community stakeholders and lead your team in engaging in a culturally responsive way with the organisations to ensure positive community outcomes with a strong focus on equity.
The Team Leader, Responsive Programmes will also lead strategic projects, and from time to time develop new initiatives. You will be key in supporting the ongoing development of our culture of learning and willingness to add value to new practice which promote the organisations strategic objectives.
What will you need:
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- Evidence of passion and commitment to people, cultures and community and the ability to connect with people from different backgrounds.
- The ability to work in partnership with communities and applicants to build key stakeholder relationships.
- Sound negotiation, leadership, process management and time management skills
- The ability to analyse and present information at a governance level.
- An understanding of good practice in community development, evaluation, and capacity building principles
