About the role

Base in the heart of Dunedin this is a newly created role that will allow you to grow and develop your leadership skills while still having a small caseload of clients, the main contract that you will be working with is the training for independent managing a small team of occupational therapists and physio’s and working closely with allied health team. Work in a team which are fun and active and enjoys a good old laugh but is very patient-centred.

This includes:

  • Working closely with Services leads, team leads, regional managers
  • Promoting this health provider as the ‘“go-to”
  • Deliver personalised solutions and get the best outcomes for the client
  • Working out ways to improve and better develop the services
  • Mentor and manage a team and get the best out of them
  • Manage a small  caseload of clients
  • Provide education and, supervision/mentoring and support the clinical team
  • Work with ACC contracts, training for independent
  • Working closely with key stakeholders and developing new connections within the community
  • Leading  by best practice

About you

  • Full Driver’s License
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Annual practising certificate in either of the following Occupational therapist or Physiotherapist
  • Would like your next move in your career into a leadership
  • 5+ years of experience
