To be successful in the role the ideal candidate will have/be:
- Experienced Sous Chef - minimum of 2 years kitchen experience
- Well presented, bright, personable and highly motivated
- A true brand ambassador capable of executing their famous dining experience for every guest
- Advantageous to have International, Michelin star or HAT restaurant experience but not essential
- An excellent communicator who thrives on being part of a fun yet hard working team
- A genuine and innate passion for all thing’s food!
Your day to day responsibilities will include:
- Responsibility for the operation of the kitchen and/or a designated section of the kitchen
- Assisting the Head Chef to develop menus according to season, supply, relevance and inspiration
- Preparing and presenting the menu in a creative and appealing manner
- Documenting all food production in a standard recipe
- Ensuring all guests receive a polite and efficient service that reflects their ethos and vision, fun dining in a fine way

Please note this employer is located in Christchurch city centre and is open Tues to Sat evenings, some lunches and for events. The hours of work are a min of 40 to a max of 45 per week.
