About the job
- Work alongside a small and supportive team based in Napier CBD.
- Provide support to the Practice Leader, working alongside caregivers/foster parents of Rangatahi.
- Support vulnerable Rangatahi and guide them through trauma or crisis and support their relationships with Whānau.
- Write accurate and efficient reports on a weekly basis and keep care plans up to date.
About you
- Registered Social Worker.
- Passionate about working with Rangatahi dealing with complex situations.
- Genuinely understanding and non-judgemental of challenging behaviours.
- A calm and patient person with the ability to relate to Rangatahi.
- Able to easily engage with Whānau Māori and Pacifica.
- Strong professional boundaries.
