About the role
The Kapiti Community Health Network (KCHN) is a partnership between Te Whatu Ora - Capital and Coast and Te Atiawa ki Whakarongotai and the lead agency is Tu Ora Compass Health. The goal of the KCHN is to build and support a strong and integrated network of providers in Kapiti who enable an equitable and sustainable health system for Kapiti people with a particular focus on Maori.
This role is employed by Tu Ora Compass Health; we are a registered charitable trust, committed to improving health outcomes for our communities through effective primary health care being the largest primary health organisation (PHO) in the Wellington region, incorporating Wellington City, Porirua/Kapiti and the Wairarapa. Through innovation, quality services, strong inter-service working relationships and a person-centred approach we believe in providing care closest to a person's home.
We are looking for a superstar programme coordinator to join our close-knit Kapiti Community Health Network team!
About the role
You will be an essential part of the Operations team for the KCHN, assisting in the coordination and effective functioning of the team. You will be working with a dedicated team of like-minded people within a friendly and supportive environment. Currently this is a one year fixed term contract.
About you
- Exceptional communication, time-management, organisation and administrative skills
- Experience in a senior administration support role, including project coordination and programme delivery
- Ideally, you would have previous experience in a business office environment (health sector preferred)
- Demonstrate an understanding of and a commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
