Reporting to the Planning and Reporting Manager, you’ll play a key role in the delivery of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, financial analysis, and providing insightful monthly reporting that facilitates informed business decisions. Here’s what you can expect from this role:
- You’ll support the business through the provision of expert management accounting knowledge and complex analysis to enable effective decision making.
- Monitor and report on the financial performance of business units, liaising with P&L owners as required for a shared understanding of the financial results and demonstrating a critical mindset, challenging peers and Senior Management as required.
- You’ll collaborate with strategic business partners across your areas, sharing knowledge and working together to support the business on various initiatives.
- You’ll prepare the monthly management and board reports, including insightful commentary, graphs, and supporting analysis/documentation.
- You’ll be a key contributor to the delivery of budgets, forecasts and associated Management and Board Reporting, along with long-term financial modelling that provides insight into the impact of strategic decisions.
- You’ll be seen as the key Finance go-to for the Commercial teams, illustrating an understanding of key performance drivers, strategic and business priorities as well as partnering with the teams on various analysis or projects.
What you will bring to our team:
- Chartered Accountant or equivalent.
- 5+ years FP&A experience in a medium-large corporate environment.
- Experience with a medium-large FMIS and planning tools.
- A continuous improvement mindset with curiosity and an interest in sharing your ideas on how we can do things differently.
- Have the knowledge alongside strong verbal and written communication skills to rapidly gain credibility with, and influence, key stakeholders.
- Confidence in engaging with all levels of the organisation and a desire to connect with those around you to strengthen relationships.
- Advanced excel and financial modelling skills.
