About this role:
In this role, you will provide guidance on complex reporting, insights and advisory on financial outcomes for a variety of different workflows that take place within the organisation. This role will provide in depth advice on the company’s adherence to various accounting standards, cash flow reporting and month-end processes.
You will be expected to do the following:
- Ongoing analysis on management reports for SLT
- External reporting to various stakeholders within public sector
- Balance sheet reconciliations / statements / cashflow monitoring and actuals
- GST / FBT & income tax processing and compliance
- External audit process liaison
Ideally, you will have:
- CA or CPA certification
- Over 5 years of financial accounting experience
- Exposure to local government accounting environments would be beneficial
- Recent experience with Technology One or a similar FMIS
- Great relationship management abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
