About the role
The key purpose of the Senior Accountant role is:
- Ensure financial reports and activities are prepared on time and with accuracy
- To oversee the processing of transactions with other finance staff on time and with accuracy
- To maintain an excellent level customer focus when dealing with any internal or external queries
- To collaborate with the operations team and manage the financial aspects of fleet management
- To provide financial advice and support to the wider team
About you
- Relevant Tertiary qualification or demonstrated experience and skills
- Working knowledge and understanding of NZ GAAP reporting standards and PBE IPSAS reporting at Tier 1
- Navision or similar financial system
- Strategic thinking and planning
- Influencing and negotiating skills
- Strong organisational and time management ability
- Strong relationship management skills
- Adept at critical thinking and decision making
- Adaptable and resilient
