About the role
We're after a Search Marketing Specialist to join our Consumer & Marketplace Marketing Team. In this role you'll be creating, executing and optimising data driven digital marketing that stimulates measurable demand for our core Trade Me business verticals (Marketplace, Jobs, Motors and Property) through paid Search Engine Marketing.

Here's what you can expect from this role:
* Execute on the SEM strategy with our agency partner and marketing leaders - this includes but isn't limited to optimisation, budget planning/allocation and reporting for all SEM campaigns across desktop and mobile plus Google Shopping.
* Optimise paid search campaigns and Google Shopping by consistently reviewing performance, ensuring goals are achieved while continuing to test and broaden paid search exposure.
* Provide regular SEM reporting, present data and facilitate discussions in a way that is clear and articulate to all stakeholders
* Manage the Google Merchant Centre feeds working closely with technical and sales/supply teams.
* Work closely with external suppliers (e.g. Agencies & Search Engine providers) to maximise effectiveness of campaign performance.
What you will bring to our team:
* You'll have 2 or more years' experience in search marketing - planning, executing, optimising search engine marketing campaigns.
* Demonstrated experience using one or more of the following tools (one of Google Ads or SA360 is required): Google Adwords; Google Merchant Center, SA360, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Shopping
* Previous experience in managing large scale paid search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns - retail experience is a real advantage.
* Demonstrated experience with data, attribution modelling and reporting
