Supplying a range of quality brands to the agricultural, golf, construction, and forestry industry. We are a company that is passionate about supporting our customers and the industry.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Sales Consultant who will focus on growing our business in the exciting, and rapidly developing, agritech segment. We currently have several new products we want to bring to market in this space and this is a chance for the right person to help develop something from the ground up.
About You:
This role is a mixture – you must be a natural Salesperson, but you will also need to be incredibly tech savvy and know your way around a farm, tractors and electronics. Naturally you will have an interest in sustainable farming practices, be familiar with agronomy and understand the challenges our customers face as a result of increasing business complexity and compliance pressure.
- Experience and or knowledge of modern Technology machine applications and operational practices in the Agriculture Industry.
- Demonstrated experience, knowledge and a passion for the farming industry.
- Experience with modern machinery management technology systems.
- Equipment sales experience preferred.
- Extremely organised, with the ability to plan and schedule work in an efficient manner.
- Always ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and professionalism.
- Have the right attitude and take ownership of your workload.
- Excellent communication (written, verbal and listening) skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
What will my daily routine look like?
This is a busy and varied role that will cover our customer base across the South Island. Noted below is an overview of what your day-to-day responsibilities would consist of.
- Provide professional advice on suitability of the agriculture equipment to customers and our internal staff.
- Networking to build on existing customer relationships in addition to developing new clients.
- Be an outstanding brand ambassador; actively promoting all facets of the business and engaged in growing market share of all products.
- Understanding and following company policies, procedures and maintaining accurate sales documentation.
- Conduct equipment demonstrations and customer events.
- Implement and maintain regular call cycles.
- Support and advise customers on their technology needs.
- Complying with all health and safety requirements.
Key Requirements
- Due to the nature of this role regular travel around the South Island will be required.
- You will be required to have a full clean NZ Driver’s Licence.
