About this role:
In this role, you will prepare theatre with medical supplies and equipment required for surgical cases. As a Theatre Nurse you will provide comfort and care for patients throughout their theatre experience, as well as creating and maintaining strong clinical relationships with specialists. You will provide high acuity levels of nursing to patients in an acute setting, working as a part of a multi-disciplinary team.
What are we looking for:
- Registered Nurse with the New Zealand Nursing Council with a current APC
- 2+ years of experience working in a theatre setting with an orthopaedic focus
- Professional and eager to learn.
- An excellent communicator with brilliant listening skills
- Calm and confident
- Organised, methodical and precise, yet flexible
- Accountable and resilient
- A team player
