Radiology Receptionist / Scheduler

About the role
This employer is looking for an enthusiastic and professional Radiology Receptionist / Scheduler for their Whakatane clinic. You will become an integral part of a front-line team that provides outstanding customer service to clients.

The role can be demanding and requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional interpersonal skills, strong commitment to quality and the ability to multi-task.Training will be provided for the right candidate, but previous relevant experience is advantageous.  This is a permanent full time position of five days per week with a small amount of evening and weekend work.

The role will include:

• Reception - greeting clients on their arrival and managing workflow
• Managing telephone queries from clients and referrers
• Scheduling appointments for a range of complex examinations via phone
• Administration tasks as required by the position

About you
The successful candidate will ideally possess the following skills and experience:

• Previous reception experience in the health sector
• Previous experience scheduling complex appointments
• Advanced computer skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• An awareness of the need for compassion, empathy and confidentiality when dealing with our clients
• The ability to relate to a wide range of medical professionals
• A high standard of personal presentation
• A focus on delivering exceptional customer service
