Quantity Surveyor

Quantum® is a professional quantity surveying and project management practice based in Grey Lynn/Ponsonby.
Quantum®'s expert team undertakes a wide range of services and projects in Auckland and around New Zealand including all aspects of Pre-Contract, Contract, and Post Contract Stages, that includes but is not limited to:

preparing feasibility studies, rough orders of cost, elemental estimates, design cost management, schedule of quantities, value engineering, tender preparation and evaluation, contract preparation, contract administration, progress claim evaluation, payment schedule preparation, variation claim and provisional sum expenditure evaluation, final account evaluation, negotiation and agreement, project management of construction through to completion, expert witness work in construction disputes, and leaky building remediation claims and repairs.

Due to a strong forward pipeline of exciting projects, we are seeking exceptional Quantity Surveyors that meet the grade to join our growing expert team, who will possess the following qualities and attributes:
  • BQS (preferred), DipQS or NZCQS qualification
  • Minimum 3 to 5years NZ experience (or more) in measuring, estimating (from first principals), payment claim and variation claim evaluation and payment schedule preparation
  • Excel (excellence), Word and typing proficiency
  • English proficiency, verbal and written
  • Responsible, Autonomous, Proactive, Motivated, Reliable, Presentable
  • Cubit, CostX, Buildsoft, QS2000 or Everest or similar experience
  • Keen to progress in experience and responsibility and grow with the company
