As they continue to grow their market in both NZ and Australia, a need has arisen for a talented Formulation Scientist to join their team.
The Role
Due to business growth, a career opportunity for a Quality Control Analyst in East Tamaki has become available. An experienced chemist is being sort assist with a wide variety of competencies from routine analytical testing to non-routine investigations, utilising a good working knowledge of GMP quality assurance methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Check production batch records and inwards goods shipments to ensure compliance to GMP and license approvals.
- Undertake routine testing via HPLC of a wide variety of active pharmaceutical ingredient materials, excipients and finished products.
- Ensure out-of-spec results are documented and investigated via Laboratory Investigation Reports and/or Non-Conformance Reports.
- Participate in internal and external audits (ACVM, APVMA).
- Conduct stability testing when required.
- Occasional requirement to assist method development team and non -routine analytical investigations.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelors or similar qualification in Chemistry.
- In depth experience using HPLC, in a pharmaceutical testing laboratory.
- Good understanding of pharmaceutical GMP, GLP and the ability to follow written SOP’s.
- Capable of working independently and productively with minimal direction.
- A strong attention to quality and accuracy of results.
- Excellent communication skills; written, oral and interpersonal skills.
- Good working knowledge of quality assurance processes.
- cGMP, ACVM, APVMA experience will be an advantage.
