Quality and Process Improvement Manager

Drive and elevate Quality Standards within paint manufacturing

Are you passionate about driving quality excellence and process improvement? This employer is seeking a dedicated Quality and Process Improvement Manager to lead this Auckland site's quality management systems and processes. Join this dedicated team to ensure top-notch quality standards, coordinate process enhancements, and elevate the New Zealand operations to new heights.

What You'll Do:

  • Establish and maintain effective Quality Management systems and processes.
  • Manage accreditations and certifications, fostering a culture of quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement in quality performance and management systems.
  • Provide technical support and leadership to enhance manufacturing processes.
  • Oversee audits, compliance, and traceability to uphold quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and drive progress.
  • Support new product introductions and ensure raw material quality.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Science discipline, with manufacturing experience.
  • Significant experience working within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to influence Operations Leaders and operators to work to set quality standards.
  • Extensive knowledge of International Quality Standards ISO9001 or ISO14001
  • Experience in Risk Management and Process Improvement methodologies.
  • Strong computer literacy and communication skills.
  • Training as an internal auditor is highly desirable.
