Product Practices Lead

IT

This employer is now looking for a key product leader, responsible for improving product practice across the company to ensure their teams are achieving great customer and commercial outcomes.

About the role

You will be a leader in their Product Guild, help to shape product UX processes and build strong product capabilities across the Consumer, Marketplace & Classifieds teams. You'll work closely with their Marketing, Sales, Engineering team and Design & UX leads to deliver world class experiences that keep Kiwi coming back.

* Where sensible they have commonly understood & used practices & tools 'sensible defaults' and a cohesive & up to date knowledge management system that helps speed up their product practice.

* Their product management & development process is evolving through industry learnings, internal feedback & challenging status quo.

* They can measure their product practice performance against key metrics and are driving an outcome focused approach.

* You work closely across their wider team (e.g., Design, Engineering, Marketing & Sales) to create alignment of product practices and ways of working.

* You've helped us create & foster a high performing product team through championing learning and development, facilitating, workshops, mentoring and coaching of individuals when needed.

* Their product guild is seen as a valuable part of their product manager's growth and development, and helps embed their shared practices

* Experienced coaching and mentoring others in product roles to grow their expertise and performance.

* A great collaborator and connector, able to form strong relationships and get the best out of people.

* A strong leader who can influence people across multiple leadership levels to get buy in, form strong relationships and get the best outcome.

* An outstanding communicator - able to explain ideas simply and clearly, listen carefully to others, and proactively improve team communication.

*Proficiency using collaboration tools to communicate and facilitate effective discussions.

* Energetic and optimistic: have the ability to spot opportunities, inject energy into your surroundings, and inspire those around you.

* Deeply customer focused and innovative: know how to get into the hearts and minds of customers and think creatively about how they can pragmatically meet their needs.

* Commercially savvy: able to proactively prioritise opportunities and deliver excellent results.

* Brings positivity to complex situations, has great empathy, ability to spot patterns or irregularities and strong self awareness.

* A deeply experienced product professional (5+ years), having led product strategies that have achieved proven customer and commercial results.
