Process Improvement Specialist

Great opportunity for an experienced Process Improvement Engineer who has in-depth knowledge in analysing, implementing systems & processes in house

About

This employer is a long-established family company which manufacturers, services & supplies industrial and commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning and acoustic equipment to the Australasian market.

They are now seeking the expertise of an experienced Process Improvement Specialist who can identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, formulate plans, take to task and set up Standard Operating Procedures, with a view to standardising production processes.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will work within a large, friendly team who all work together being responsible for the construction, assembly and finishing of their wide range of ducting and acoustic products.

To be successful in this role you will need to possess:

  • A relevant Engineering qualification
  • Experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • A mechanical aptitude with a good knowledge of machine operation.
  • The ability to identify safe and efficient working environments and improve process efficiency.
  • Impressive communication with well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Excellent writing, numerical and documentation skills - intermediate Excel etc.
  • A strong quality focus
  • Team leadership skills - dealing with staff at all different levels
  • The ability to set up & implement targets, driving high quality work, assessing production costs and ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Reviewing, reporting and working alongside the management team.
  • Be result focused where you can deliver in an autonomous role.

The days & hours for this role are; Monday to Friday - 7.30am-4.00pm
