About the role
Process Engineer is responsible to provide support to all aspects of manufacturing between Production, Engineering, R&D and Planning. This role also improves existing manufacturing processes, increase production efficiency and reduce waste and cost.
In this role you will:
- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products
- Analyse production flow, identify bottlenecks, and recommend innovative solutions to management to resolve issues.
- Conduct process audits to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process changes
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process flow diagrams
- Perform risk assessments
- Maintain a financial focus, being aware of and continuously trying to minimise overall costs to the company.
- Document machine setup and method of assembly
To succeed in this role you need:
- 3+ years of experience in process engineering or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of process simulation software
- Fully conversant with H&S Systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
