About the role:

This employer is seeking an experienced Office Manager for this High-tech facility offering MRI, CT, PET-CT, Ultrasound and X-Ray services.  As a primary contact for patients and referrers in the region, you will be expected to deliver a professional and excellent standard of service with a strong focus on customer service and care.

Whangārei is New Zealand’s most northern city and is the entry point to the Bay of Islands, a subtropical region known for its stunning beauty. It has a wide variety of shops and services but it’s a place you go to relax on the beach – it’s even described as ‘the city with 100 beaches!’

They are looking for a smart-minded individual to work in front-line services including bookings. This is a full-time, 40 hour per week position, Monday to Friday.

Ideal skills and experience:

  • Understanding of radiology services including MRI, CT and ultrasound bookings preferred
  • Previous experience in a customer service and/or medical reception role essential
  • Fantastic communication skills, and sound judgement with a proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
  • The ability to quickly master specialised and complex software
  • Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology
  • Previous experience in a leadership / supervisory role preferred
