ABOUT THE ROLE
This employer is looking for a Medical Receptionist to effectively interact with patients, referrers, funders and the public in a prompt and professional manner. Ideally, you will have had previous customer service experience in a scheduling environment, medical reception or similar front-line customer contact role.
In the role you would:
· Welcome patients and callers while determining and fulfilling their needs
· Set up reception, including ensuring reception and patient waiting area is clean, tidy and safe at all times
· Check patient details and accurately input information into Comrad / Immigration systems
· Ensure patients are aware of cost of examination and process payments
· Liaise with clinical staff to ensure appointments run to schedule
· Ensure appointments are scheduled and booked for walk-in patients
· Facilitate any further action required to complete the patient’s visit.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
· Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and have the ability to pick up new computer systems
· Display exceptional organisational skills
· Deliver exceptional customer service using exemplary interpersonal skills
· Process large amounts of changeable and technical information.
