About the role
As a Building Services Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that building systems are installed, tested and commissioned to meet the design intent and project specifications. The successful candidate will work with construction companies and building owners to provide commissioning management.
In this role you will:
- Plan and execute commissioning processes for building services related matters.
- Perform functional testing and verification of building systems to ensure that they meet design intent and project specifications.
- Develop commissioning plans and procedures for building systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the commissioning process.
- Prepare commissioning reports and documentation.
- Stay current with industry codes and standards related to building systems commissioning.
To succeed in this role you need:
- A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in building systems commissioning either in mechanical, electrical, communications, data, security or fire engineering.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with clients and manage contractors.
- Ability to learn and apply technical information.
