About the role:
This is an opportunity to lead our client's maintenance team to ensure the efficient and timely maintenance and repairs of Ground Support Equipment. The work will involve:
- Managing the workload through the workshop
- Running toolbox meetings and supporting Health & Safety
- Carrying out quality control checks
- Ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the workshop
This job involves 12 hour shifts on a 4 on/4 off rotation. Hours are 7am - 7.00pm. This could be a great way to get some extra family time and a better work life balance!
Skills + Experience:
For this role you will need:
- A relevant Trade Qualification in Engineering
- At least 3 years experience as a Mechanical or Diesel Fitter
- At least 2 years experience in a Supervisory role
- Good knowledge of fitting and working to best practice
- A commitment to Health & Safety
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A clean criminal record check
- A current NZ drivers’ license
