Marketing & Communications Manager

The Role:

Reporting to the CEO, the Marketing & Communications Manager will manage all internal and external communications for the organisation, as well as drive brand awareness by implementing and evolving the communications strategy and delivery of high quality, engaging print and digital materials across a range of channels.

In this role you will have full accountability for the company’s marketing and communications functions, primarily focusing on:

  • Owning and driving the strategic, end-to-end marketing plan. The successful candidate will essentially be the ‘compass’ from a strategic marketing perspective
  • Development and delivery of marketing and communications programmes for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Writes, edits, produces and distributes social media posts and advertisements, blog articles, web copy, newsletters, media releases, appeal letters, annual reports, brochures, invitations, videos and other material as required.
  • Develops creative and engaging content for print and digital channels that effectively promote the group of companies.
  • Working in (particularly close) partnership with the Sales teams, enabling them with the tools and products they need to meet the company’s objectives.
  • Continued development of the corporate brand and the company’s product brands

About you:

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Have a relevant Tertiary qualification in Marketing (or equivalent) who has gained 3 years minimum, total career experience
  • Possess strategic and analytical skills to craft the company’s future marketing direction and make a significant contribution to the Leadership Team.
  • Have a strong bias towards execution and delivering results, including being prepared to consistently have a ‘rolled-up sleeves approach’ alongside leading a team.
  • The proven accomplishment of owning and successfully implementing national marketing strategies
  • Having a Graphic Design background will be an advantage
