Marketing Assistant

If you are a hardworking, well organised and creative person, we have the perfect job for you! Our current Marketing Assistant is heading away on Parental Leave and Drummond & Etheridge are looking for someone to support the Marketing team while they are away.

Drummond & Etheridge are a leading supplier of John Deere equipment throughout the South Island, with an extensive branch network that supplies a range of quality brands to the agricultural, golf, construction, and forestry markets. We also support the outdoor and adventure markets with high performing recreational products; JB Caravans, Cub Campers, Honda Marine, Scott Jet Boats and more.

Your day-to-day responsibilities in the role will include:

• Assisting with the design and creation of marketing material and campaigns
• Assisting with the development and maintenance of all website and social media activity, with particular emphasis on eCommerce
• Providing marketing support and initiatives to all management and departments across the company
• Media bookings and negotiations
• Management of the image library and recorded content
• Liaising with relevant departments and suppliers to meet marketing time frames

To be successful in the role you will have/be:

• A creative personality with good content and copywriting skills
• Experience with eCommerce and website administration
• Exceptional attention to detail with an eye for detail
• Competency with the Adobe Creative suite program
• Highly organised and capable of managing a variety of tasks
• Videography experience or a keen interest to learn
• Able to work well independently and as part of a team
• Adaptable; able to turn your hand to whatever the day throws at you
