We operate world standard production facilities at Timaru in South Canterbury and Napier in Hawkes Bay. Our preference is for people who have previous work experience in Woolscours. However, It doesn’t matter if you’ve never done this type of work before, because we will show you how to do it and support you whilst you learn. Regardless of where you are right now, we are interested to talk to you if you have the target skills, a technical attitude and you want to move to Timaru.
We offer a generous remuneration package which includes a significant bonus scheme linked to production outcomes. Our staff earn between $65-85,000 per year.
In this role you will:
- apply your technical skills and particularly in the field of computer control;
- make recommendations on how to improve machinery;
- trouble-shoot and diagnose control systems issues and where possible to remedy these issues;
- monitor Press equipment and associated machines to improve mechanical processes;
- utilise clear, confident, professional communication skills;
- Show initiative and attention to detail;
- Be a cheerful, motivated team player;
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and someone who always strives to do their best;
- Be physically fit and able to move around our equipment;
