The final element of future planning is to secure production talent who want to develop themselves as an operator and run encapsulation machines as their next career move.
The role:
As a key member of the production department, the successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, cleaning and maintenance of the encapsulation or tablet press machines to produce various batches as per the production schedule.
- Applying technical machine operating skills to ensure consistent running of machines and achieve daily targets and KPI’s.
- Follow standard operating procedures and in-process checks to ensure the manufactured product meets the product specifications and high-quality standards of the organisation.
- Follow and complete cleaning tasks as detailed on the daily cleaning schedules, between changes in product lines or as required to prevent contamination.
- Assist engineering team to troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns or performance issues as well as complete preventive maintenance of machinery.
- Accurately complete all related documentation.
Ideally, candidates will have a background in a pharmaceutical or nutraceuticals industry, however those with machine operation experience from any sterile GMP environment or food manufacturing industries would be considered. Problem solving, mechanical aptitude an understanding of wider manufacturing process are highly regarded.

Environment:
Compliance with the strict GMP Hygiene standards and processes is non- negotiable and prohibits any foreign matter or contamination from jewellery, hair, or makeup. All PPE will be provided however candidates must be comfortable to use masks, ventilators, glasses, and other restrictive PPE.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday with a choice of either day shifts from 6.30am – 15.00pm or afternoon 15.15to 11.45pm.
