Loss Adjuster

To be successful in the role you must be......

• An experienced Loss Adjuster / Assessor with a reputation as a respected competent Adjuster or
• Someone with highly transferable skills keen to embark on a career as a Loss Adjuster for example from a Claims background, the construction industry or project management
• Be confident in negotiating claims for property loss or damage
• Have excellent communication skills and have a high level of industry knowledge
• Have excellent attention to detail and be confident in preparing accurate reports for insurers or willing to learn
• Be able to manage your own work load and be committed to delivering exceptional service in all aspects of the claim process
• Have good local knowledge with the ability to build strong commercial relationships in the Wellington area
• Willing to support the owners in Business Development

Your day to day responsibilities will include…..

• Assessing and negotiating claims for property loss or damage
• Meeting policyholders to investigate and assess the loss
• Reporting to insurers
• Liaising with contractors and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
• Delivering excellent service and prompt claim response
• Arrange and supervise repairs as required
