We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Helpdesk + IT Support team at our Ashburton Office. As the go-to person for all initial IT inquiries, you will be collaborating with the IT Manager to provide technical assistance and support for day-to-day operations. We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology and an aptitude for problem-solving. Someone who is the go-to person for their friends and family when they need assistance with their devices.
Experience in IT Support is desired, but we are primarily interested in your aptitude and enthusiasm for the role and willingness to learn.
In this role you will:
- Maintaining an accurate record of the company assets;
- Responding to IT support emails in a timely manner;
- Configuring PCs and laptops; and,
- Maintaining the ticketing system
What you will bring:
- You will demonstrate a high level of skill in clear and concise communication, with strong interpersonal skills
- You are confident in using your proactive initiative and taking ownership
- Are solutions focused with the ability to make sound and timely decision whilst having the confidence to seek advice when/if required
- You are extremely motivated and enjoy working with a variety of technologies
- A great phone manner
- Good documentation skills
