As Key Account Manager you’ll nurture and grow these accounts, building and maintaining trusted relationships with key decision makers at a Head Office level. Here’s what you can expect from this role:
- Build relationships with key dealers across NZ to understand their business goals, priorities and challenges they face
- Develop customer account plans by leading a joint company/customer planning process that identifies relevant customer needs, prioritises initiatives and company investments, and establishes a clear action plan for success.
- Work with and influence your peers across sales, product and marketing to ensure revenue growth and goals and strategies for your accounts are met.
- Identify, develop and implement new business opportunities using their extensive data set; share relevant insights based on their data;
- Collaborate with teams - product managers, designers, marketers - to Identify key challenges they company could help solve for dealers and manufacturers; generate ideas as to how they could go about solving these; gather feedback on these ideas.
- Establish yourself as a business advisor and industry expert
What you will bring to the team:
- Five or more years experience Business Development and/or Key Account management experience from ideally a digital/online business or senior dealership/OEM experience
- Demonstrated experience in nurturing and growing C Suite level relationships
- Proven success in in strategic planning, sales and account management
- A strategic thinker, problem solver with a polished approach
- Excellent presentation skills and the ability to effectively utilise data
- An effective leader who can elicit the best out of their peers with a natural ability to positively influence
- A record of strong execution skills with a natural drive to get stuff done and achieve business goals
- Experience within the Motors industry is highly desirable
