About the Job

  • This is a senior leadership role reporting to the Pou Raranga Matua (Chief Operating Officer). You will:
  • Manage the Taiora Portfolio with a range of non clinical and community health services, including education, parenting, budgeting, tamariki ora and new nurse led community based primary health care clinics.
  • Lead operational performance, have input into operations, quality and excellence planning as well as the future design and direction of the organisation.
  • Engage, lead, support and grow your Team Managers and future leaders to deliver results and services aligned to the organisational values
  • Be supported by experienced peers and a professional corporate team

About you

  • A senior and experienced leader capable of building high performing teams that deliver quality integrated services
  • Skilled in building and maintaining relationships with national funders
  • Experienced in Tikanga
  • Tertiary educated in a Clinical or specialist area
  • Central government knowledge grounded in community needs
  • Previous successful management of complex, diverse, community health or social services portfolios
  • Local connections and networks in the health and social services sector
  • Success in design and implementation of whānau focused programmes
  • Full Drivers license
  • Evidence of COVID Vaccination
