About the Job
- This is a senior leadership role reporting to the Pou Raranga Matua (Chief Operating Officer). You will:
- Manage the Taiora Portfolio with a range of non clinical and community health services, including education, parenting, budgeting, tamariki ora and new nurse led community based primary health care clinics.
- Lead operational performance, have input into operations, quality and excellence planning as well as the future design and direction of the organisation.
- Engage, lead, support and grow your Team Managers and future leaders to deliver results and services aligned to the organisational values
- Be supported by experienced peers and a professional corporate team
About you
- A senior and experienced leader capable of building high performing teams that deliver quality integrated services
- Skilled in building and maintaining relationships with national funders
- Experienced in Tikanga
- Tertiary educated in a Clinical or specialist area
- Central government knowledge grounded in community needs
- Previous successful management of complex, diverse, community health or social services portfolios
- Local connections and networks in the health and social services sector
- Success in design and implementation of whānau focused programmes
- Full Drivers license
- Evidence of COVID Vaccination
