The Role:
This is an intermediate level role reporting to the Chief Digital Officer. The IT Portfolio & Improvement Analyst:
- Provides analysis and insights on the IT service’s customer experience, performance, efficiency and opportunities for improvement
- Engages with IT management and teams to determine opportunities for improvement, using data to support the process
- Develops and maintain reports, dashboards and other visualisations to track key performance indicators and other agreed measures, and the portfolio of IT work.
- Develops and implements (directly or through others) data collection systems and the timely delivery of data to support analysis
- Leads or supports various aspects of IT stakeholder communications
The successful applicant is a strong communicator, in particular through data-driven storytelling, and enjoys direct engagement with teams and individuals. This role supports a continuous improvement approach and is integral to the perception and success of the IT team, and ultimately to the success of the wider organisation.

To be successful in this role you will have:
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role or other relevant roles
- Experience in a commercially driven business environment
- Experience using appropriate data and structured analysis techniques
- Experience using tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI etc
- Experience working with internal and external stakeholders to understand and clarify needs and to identify improvement opportunities
- A commitment to personal accountability, a customer-centric focus, and a can-do mindset
Ideally you will have experience as an analyst and in Business Operations / Service Delivery / Performance improvement. However, they also know that not everyone has all the experience they need for a job on day one. They are very much interested in people with the right attitude and aptitude, and are willing to mentor and develop people.
