Infrastructure Manager

Large Agricultural Company / Global Presence - Flexible Working Environment - Five weeks leave per annum

Who is hiring:

One of New Zealand’s largest Agricultural and leading food and solutions companies are seeking an Infrastructure Manager with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT Infrastructure Management. Our client has a Nationwide and Global presence that has been thriving since its inception in 1960. Their journey has been from a small kiwi business to success on a global stage and they won’t stop there.

The role:

The role is reporting to the Chief Information Officer, you will play a key role as a member of the IT Leadership team. The role is to ensure that the current infrastructure is maintained and projects for improvement are successfully implemented.

You will lead and inspire a team of three which is growing rapidly and will increase within the next twelve months. Having leadership experience is essential to be able to motivate and educate the team amongst your daily duties. Amongst a lot of digital transformation there are a lot of opportunities and challenges in the technology space if you are keen to drive technology change and to own the initiatives to support it.

You must be able to understand the architectural and infrastructure landscape of all systems running including on premise, cloud and manufacturing execution systems and the business requirements to effectively manage these.

Essential Skills:

  • Having 5+ years IT Infrastructure Management experience is a MUST
  • Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and Windows 11 support
  • Virtualisation technologies (Veam/VM ware)
  • Experience working with an ERP system within a large organisation
  • Have led a team
  • Desirable – knowledge or understanding in a manufacturing environment
