Main job responsibilities include:
- Repairing mobile phones, iPads and other tablets; and resolving both software and hardware issues
- Sales of accessories and screen protector installations
- Providing efficient customer service including troubleshooting and identifying requirements and providing a thorough explanation of the services that meet their requirements and recommending products that suit their needs
- Installing software, updates and diagnosing software issues
- Preparing and placing new orders for accessories and repair parts as and when required
- Managing customer complaints
- Keeping the premises safe and secure at all times
- Preparing sales report at the end of each work day
The successful candidate must demonstrate the following skills:
- Proven experience as a Technician or similar
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
- Be able to work on a flexible roster including public holidays and weekends
- Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills
- An academic background in IT, computer science or relevant field
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
- Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
