Reporting to the HR and Talent Acquisition Manager, this role will see you assist the general HR, Safety and Training functions for the business to enable a great workplace culture and environment, whilst working to support programmes to drive integration and compliance, and the implementation of key projects to improve systems capability and delivery across the business.
This newly scoped role is a fantastic opportunity for a budding HR administrator with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience to learn from key HR and Safety leaders who have earned their stripes and gained the experience in their careers to date. Some of the key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding as directed
- Support employee engagement initiatives and employee value proposition frameworks.
- Maintain employee records and collation of HR data, including new hire administration, coordination and maintenance.
- Provide effective coordination and support across the HR and Safety portfolios
- Drive preparation of key procedural documentation, policies and other documentation, of training programs and other people
- Efficiently and accurately capture HRST compliance documentation across key software platforms
- Maintain up to date HRST training record databases, and manage license and training timeframes
- Ensure the integrity and smooth running of the HR and HS software to support all stakeholders.
A bit about you
You’ll ideally have 1-2 years of HR, health & safety or related experience. You will also have some form of post-secondary training - HR diploma/certificate or better. You'll have advanced computer skills (excel, word, powerpoint) and become quickly adaptable to new software programmes, and you'll need to be dynamic and able to prioritise and reprioritize tasks.
As it is a very people-oriented business, verbal and written English must be at an excellent level, as well as your ability to retain a high level of confidentiality and working without constant supervision. A good sense of humour is a bonus, as is a tenacious and diplomatic mindset!
