Our client is a Christchurch based construction company working across the industry with specialist services in the earthquake, fire, wind and flood remediation space. Having recently expanded into the North Island they are looking for an experienced General Manager to support the CEO in the day to day business operations.
Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to join the business in the role of General Manager. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for driving business growth, maintaining and developing strong commercial relationships and continuing to strengthen what is already a strong workplace culture.
To be successful in this role you must be/have:
- At least 5 years experience in a senior leadership role or have transferrable skills that match the requirements of the role
- A proven track record of creating, leading, motivating and managing staff to achieve desired outcomes
- High level of commercial acumen
- Experience/knowledge of the construction and insurance industry
- A strategic thinker confident in your ability to develop and execute robust business plans
- Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and turn these relationships into profitable business opportunities
This is a fast-paced industry where no two days will be the same and as a result we are looking for a motivated and energetic General Manager to help steer the team to growth and success.
