A permanent full-time role based in Nelson has become available for a Container Loader with the following rostered system, the work is shared across a team of three.
- A roster system of three days on, four days off.
- Rosters will be Monday-Wednesday inclusive with the possibility of changing to Thursday-Saturday.
- Roster pattern will rotate every four weeks.
- Hours of work will be 4.00am to 4.30pm
In this role you will be involved with the loading and unloading of containers mostly using a forklift with minimal hand stacking and may also help with vessel discharge and other site forklift work as required. You need to be reliable as teamwork is key to this operation functioning well.
A valid OSH forklift licence is required, and ideally an F endorsement on your full NZ Drivers Licence. Your forklift experience will have included export container loading and/or complex warehouse movements.

- To have a strong focus on the requirements of the customer and willing to pitch in to deliver the teams daily requirements.
- Be able to demonstrate resourcefulness, using your initiative and remaining calm under pressure.
- Have a passion and commitment for health and safety.
- Be process orientated and have sound computer literacy.
