Responsibilities:
- Fleet Management: Coordinate vehicles to ensure timely repairs and compliance, maintain reports, and implement customer satisfaction strategies.
- Team Management: Lead and develop a high-performing team, manage daily activities, and ensure effective rostering.
- Communication: Develop and communicate clear strategies, influence branch targets, and ensure smooth operations.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement and best practices, collaborate with other departments.
- Project Management: Lead or participate in projects, develop plans to meet objectives and timelines.
- Health and Safety: Champion health and safety, coach and train in safe work procedures, manage risks, incidents, and rehabilitation plans.
Key criteria/requirements:
- Full and clean current Driver's licence
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in vehicle deliverables with technical knowledge
- Mechanical aptitude/understanding
- Positive, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant applications
- Ability to work under pressure
- Problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Reliable team player with flexibility and experience
- Physical fitness for required tasks
- Willingness to work on a flexible rotating roster, including weekends
