About the Job
Under the direction and delegation of the Registered Nurse assist with and provide effective nursing / clinical care services including:
- Administer interventions, treatments and medications
- Complete drug / medication rounds.
- Coach and mentor medication staff
- Provides accurate and timely clinical information and direction to the Coordinator
- Contributes to care planning, involving clients and staff
- Maintain infection control procedures
About you
- An Enrolled Nurse with current registration and APC
- Previous clinical knowledge and practice within the disability or rehabilitative services is preferred but not necessary
- Team player who consistently demonstrates a willingness to support peers and go the extra mile.
- Adaptability, flexibility and a willingness to embrace change.
- High-levels of personal and professional integrity.
- Respect for and sensitivity to cultural, health and disability needs
- Clarity and openness about ideas and decision-making processes, wherever possible providing opportunities for others to be involved in decisions that affect their work.
