A bit about the role
They are seeking a highly motivated hands on practical/strategic Electrical Team Leader to join their Waitoa operation, leading the Site Electrical Team in the compliance and maintenance of the sites electrical assets. This full-time role, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for:
- Leading and supervising a team of 5 electricians
- Overseeing and coordinating electrical projects adhering to AS/NZS 3000 standards
- Planning and allocating resources to optimize team performance
- Providing technical guidance and support
- Cross-functional team collaboration
- Assisting with complex problem-solving and troubleshooting
- Developing and implementing strategies
- Supporting continuous improvement culture
A bit about you
- 5 years' experience in an electrical industrial food manufacturing environment
- Thorough knowledge of electrical legislation and regulations
- Leadership & mentoring experience
- Experience with automated control systems (PLC, SCADA, VSD & Servo Drives)
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Strong aptitude with problem solving and hands-on fault finding/diagnostic skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a desire to work as part of a team
