We are working with a centre in Otahuhu, who are seeking a dedicated registered teacher or teacher in training to join their lovely team on a part time basis and are happy to work with your flexibility with school hours/days of the week.
Using a Christian based teaching curriculum, this centre creates a safe, loving and nurturing environment or children to develop and grow. The ideal candidate will be a passionate team player who has a passion for children and their learning outcomes. The centre caters to 2-5 year old's and has a license of 40.
Key responsibilities:
- Planning and implementing learning programs, planning for the children in collaboration with the team
- Building positive relationships with children and their families
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities and volunteering events
- Maintain a safe and stimulating environment
- Great team player with the ability to make strong relationships
Requirements:
- B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current teacher registration/certification or teacher in training.
- Ability to create a warm and inclusive atmosphere
- Must be New Zealand based
- Strong understanding of Te Whariki
