This employer is looking for a talented Digital Marketing Specialist with at least 4 years of experience to join the marketing team of their growing sustainable NZ beauty brand.
You’ll be a self-motivated, analytical individual with a strong understanding of ecommerce, sales, and marketing and have a strong affinity for the world of makeup, beauty, skincare, fashion, or retail. You’ll be able to juggle multiple marketing tasks, managing the day-to-day operations of the website to ensure that sourcing & listing new products are up-to-date, customer database management and segmentation, maintaining the brand’s online presence, and working with the wider team.
The marketing team of 6 includes the head of marketing, a creative director, a content marketing specialist, an offshore marketing media consultant, and a retail strategist & planning consultant. You will also work with various creative freelancers.
Day-to-day you’ll be working alongside the head of marketing and the creative director, where you will be responsible for live online marketing and promotion, reviewing and driving overall customer traffic through smart SEO, uploading new web content and marketing material, managing new and existing products and their visual exposure online for the direct consumer to order with ease, and regular reviewing and testing of product listings.

Proven results and experience in…
- Uploading new web content and digital & generic marketing material.
- Uploading new & existing products, managing specs, prices, and descriptions, as well as overall brand management.
- Regular testing & reviewing of product listings to ensure they are exactly what the customer is ordering.
- Uploading seasonal promotional material that helps drives sales online.
- Have a strong understanding of what is possible around search, ad words, and paid opportunities within Google.
- Customer database management & segmentation
- Working with external digital media agencies to drive improved performance of paid search and social and implementing recommendations.
- Work with a wider marketing team to deliver outstanding E-Commerce experience.
- Engage in the discovery and research of the voice of the customer, customer needs, and analytics
